A day with Entropy
What happens at your business while you sleep.
Most businesses now run on computers that keep working after everyone goes home. The website takes orders. Reports build themselves. Emails go out on a timer.
When one of those breaks at 2 a.m., nobody knows. Usually you find out from an unhappy customer.
Entropy is an AI helper made by HiveMind AI. It keeps watch over those computers day and night. It fixes the simple things by itself. It writes you a short note about the rest. You still make the big calls.
The night, hour by hour
From closing time to morning coffee.
All night, Entropy checks everything every 30 minutes: the website, the store, and the jobs that run in the dark. Most checks find nothing wrong. Here is what the others found.
- Quiet time
- Fixed by itself
- Left for a person
-
6:00 PM
Everyone goes home.
The lights go off. The website stays open, and the jobs that run at night start up. Nobody is watching the screens.
-
8:31 PM
A practice customer hits a broken step.
Entropy goes through the website the way a customer would. Tonight, one step did not work right.
It wrote down exactly what went wrong and got a repair ready. But the repair changes how the website works. That is a big change, so it did not do it. It saved the repair for the owner to approve.
Left for a person
-
12:50 AM
A job gets stuck for hours.
A behind-the-scenes job had been running for hours. It should take minutes. Everything that came after it was waiting.
Entropy stopped the stuck job so the rest could run. Before it touched anything, it saved a copy of the settings, in case it needed to put them back.
Fixed by itself
-
1:03 AM
A small watcher goes quiet.
A small program that reports on the computer's health stopped reporting. Entropy noticed the silence and started it again.
Fixed by itself
-
3:01 AM
A job starts saving bad information.
One job gathers new information for the business every night. It failed its quality check two times in a row.
Entropy paused it, so it would not fill the records with bad information. It noted the pause for the morning.
Paused by itself
-
4:31 AM
An old problem comes back.
Entropy checks every fix again after an hour, a day, and a week. One fix from earlier in the week had come back for the second time.
It did not patch the same thing a third time. It marked the problem “keeps coming back” and asked for a deeper look.
Left for a person
-
6:31 AM
A change that needs the main keys.
One setting can only be changed by someone with the main keys to the system. Entropy does not hold those keys, on purpose.
It wrote down the exact step, in plain words, so the owner can do it in a minute.
Left for a person
-
7:30 AM
Morning coffee.
Nothing last night was an emergency, so nobody's phone rang. The owner opens one short note.
Good morning. Here is last night.
Handled
- A stuck job was stopped, so the jobs behind it could run.
- A quiet watcher program was started again.
- A job that saved bad information twice is paused.
Needs you
- A website repair is ready. It changes a page, so I need your OK.
- One setting needs the main keys. I wrote out the exact step.
- An old problem came back twice. It needs a deeper look.
I will check last night's fixes again in an hour, a day, and a week.
A true story, October 9, 2026
The night the main computer went dark.
The main computer that Entropy runs on went silent. Nobody was there to notice.
After 15 minutes of silence, a backup copy of Entropy took over the watch. It checked every public website. When the main computer came back, the backup handed control back. Nothing was left unwatched.
The owner's side
What the owner did not have to do.
- Wake up at 1 a.m. to a phone call.
- Log in and hunt for what was stuck.
- Read long error messages and guess what they mean.
- Remember to check, days later, that a fix really held.
- Fix the same problem for the third time.
- Find out about a broken website from a customer.
The owner read one note, made two small decisions, and asked for one deeper look. That was the whole job.
What it saves
Fewer surprises, fewer late nights.
Hours
Nobody sits and watches screens or digs through errors. You read one short note.
Missed orders
A broken order page is found at night, not by the tenth customer who gave up.
Angry customers
Problems are fixed or flagged before your business opens.
Late-night calls
Simple problems are fixed without waking anyone. Only a real emergency reaches your phone.
In our own business so far, as of October 13, 2026
- 252hours of watching by itself
- 505checks in a row, one every 30 minutes, with no gaps
- 406problems found without anyone looking
The honest part: not every fix sticks. Of 15 fixes it made, 9 have stayed fixed so far. That is why it checks every fix again, and tells you when something keeps coming back.
We do not have numbers from outside customers yet. When we do, we will show them here.
How it fits in
You start by letting it watch.
- 1
We list what runs after hours.
Your website, orders, bookings, reports, and anything else that runs by itself.
- 2
Entropy only watches at first.
It sends you the morning note. It changes nothing.
- 3
You pick what it may fix.
You choose the simple fixes it can do on its own. Everything else still comes to you as a note.
Is this for me?
It may fit if most of these sound true.
- Your business keeps running online after everyone goes home.
- Something has broken overnight, and you heard about it from a customer.
- Someone on your team “keeps an eye on things” on top of their real job.
- You want fewer late-night calls, not more screens to watch.
- You want to stay the one who decides about money, passwords, and what you tell customers.
If nothing at your business runs by itself on a computer, you probably do not need this yet.
Hard limits
What Entropy will not do.
Move money
It does not pay bills, buy things, or move money.
Speak for you
It does not write to your customers or post anything in public.
Touch the locks
Passwords and who gets access stay with people. It writes the step and asks.
Make big changes alone
A big change waits for your OK. It gets the change ready, then asks.
Hide its mistakes
Every action is written down, and you can read all of it.
